~About the Artist~
I began my humble beginnings in Ohio..and taught myself to sew at an early age...my first project..a purse out of my grandpas old osh~kosh overalls.I soon became enticed by the early craftsmen in the Colonial Era..and felt I had to learn it all..papercutting..frakturs in watercolors..embroidery work..faux graining...stenciling & murals. I now live in my dream home..an 1864 brick farm house..where my mind races with new creations to make each hour. Beeswax & duplicating old rag dolls are my favorite mediums currently & I am getting ready to start a pattern designing venture. My taste in art medium varies..as I love paper art... and have had my work published in Stamping & Co. Magazine and their Gallery of Artists
